Last week, we dropped a bombshell of OME proportions when we announced that the cast of “New Moon” will be presenting exclusive footage from their upcoming “Twilight” sequel during the MTV Movie Awards. Now we can reveal that the never-before-seen video that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be introducing on Sunday’s live show is the movie’s first trailer.
The stars will present the premiere of the “New Moon” trailer on the Movie Awards, airing at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday. Then at 10:45 p.m., the high-definition video will debut online.

Guy Ritchie is set to remake ‘Guys and Dolls’. The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ director has flown to Hollywood for a series of meetings about turning the successful musical and 1955 movie, which is about two small-time gamblers in New York, into a modern-day blockbuster. A source said: “Guy has been on the case with the idea of making a musical recently. He has had a lot of meetings with top studio bosses about other projects but the ‘Guys and Dolls’ idea really tickled him.” After the success of the iconic original film – which starred Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and Jean Simmons – Guy plans to adapt the storyline and set the story in London.

Yesterday, the stars from every CW show under the sun hit NYC for the network’s 2009 upfront presentation (where all their new and returning series are pimped out for advertisers).Thankfully, there was a premiere-worthy red carpet (even though it was green) preceding the presentation where the casts of “Gossip Girl,” 90210″ and the new “Melrose Place” reboot talked profusely about their shows.
Spoilers spewed forth from their mouths, including one that’s too juicy to print — it has to do with Sydney Andrews’ return to her old stomping grounds!
Mark-Paul Gosselaar confirmed to Life & Style that a Save By The Bell reunion is in discussion:
It’s been 16 years since Zack Morris ruled Bayside High, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 35, is still recognized most for his Saved by the Bell alter ego.
“That image will stay with me for my entire career,” Mark tells Life & Style. “But I’m not looking to shed the persona of Zack. I’m proud of the work I did.”
Mark, a husband and a dad of two, now stars as a public defender on TNT’s Raising the Bar and calls the role “different from anything that I’ve played or ever done in television.”
But don’t rule out a SBTB reunion. “Jimmy Fallon is trying to [reunite the cast],” Mark says. “We’re still discussing it.”
Let me guess the plot of the reunion, Zach and Kelly dealing with parenthood? I’ll so watch!
Leighton Meester talks to MTV about Chuck and Blair, at the TheCW Upfront:
Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass have always had a very passionate and tumultuous relationship on “Gossip Girl.” With season two ending with Chuck traveling the world to collect treasures for Blair to prove he cares for her, it does seem that, at least for now, these two are trying to make it work.
“I mean, that’s pretty romantic. I think he knows now what he wants. They’re done with high school, so any drama associated with that is sort of gone,” Leighton Meester (a.k.a. Blair) told MTV News. “I mean, I think I’m pretty satisfied with what happened. I was really happy when I knew they kind of ended up together at the end of this season.”
But Meester also warned fans that although things seem great in the world of Blair and Chuck, that doesn’t mean they’ll have a picture-perfect ending: “It’s still kind of a cliffhanger ’cause … every other episode they’re back [together], they’re not, they’re back. But now I feel like it’s more official and he’s willing to admit his feelings and she is too. That’s a relationship I really like a lot.”
She added that the couple have a “fun dynamic.” “Them together just seems so real. I mean, he loves her,” she said. “The point is you love to hate him. You hate to love him. And he’s such a very definitive character and he’s always changing too. He’s awesome.”
So, if things don’t work out again between Blair and Chuck, what guy would she want to see with her? Well, none! “Every time she breaks up with Chuck I don’t want to see her with anybody. They’re never actually broken up; she still pines over him. I think, from my point of view, a tumultuous relationship is an unhealthy one, and for them to be together it’s going to take work. But they might just fight and break up and get back together. They seem like that kind of couple.”
She may not know what will happen with Chuck, but she does have some predictions about her own character. “I don’t think Blair’s losing her queen-bee status just yet,” she said, adding that she would like to see her lose something else. “I think we might retire the headbands. … To me, it’s always been where she’s at in her life. Maybe she’ll start wearing them to regress.”
Dawn Ostroff talks to TV Guide about Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton departure from One Tree Hill:
CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff is putting the best possible spin on the loss of One Tree Hill original cast members Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, saying the show now has an opportunity to bring on new characters.
“We tried to get them to stay; we would have been thrilled if they wanted to,” Ostroff told reporters at the CW’s upfront presentation. But since Murray and Burton are moving on, Tree Hill must now reinvent itself a bit — as it did in 2007, with a four-year flash-forward.
“A show going into its seventh year is very open to reinventing itself,” says Ostroff. “And one thing I have to give [series creator] Mark Schwahn a lot of credit for is that he has kept the show so fresh all these years.”
As reported last week, Tree Hill will seek to “replace” Lucas and Peyton by adding three new characters, including Haley’s older sister, Quinn. (Learn one of Quinn’s “secrets” in this week’s Mega Minute.)
“We look at shows like ER, shows that go on for many, many years, and a lot of those casts go through different people,” notes Ostroff. “So we are sad to see [Chad and Hilarie] go — and grateful for everything they did for the show — but excited about seeing who else is going to join the cast.”
I wonder how the Lucas and Peyton shippers are holding up over the departure…I’m sure not too bad, since Leyton did get their happy ending! I guess the real question is, how will One Tree Hill hold up without Lucas? That’s like Dawson’s Creek without Dawson Leery, Smallville without Clark Kent… it’s just down right weird!
